Our client is recruiting a Payroll Specialist on a permanent, full-time basis. Your new company
Are you an experienced payroll professional looking to apply your expertise beyond day-to-day processing? Hays is partnering with a growing organisation running a payroll compliance and governance project. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded team.
Your new role
Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations and compliance reviews.Investigate payroll issues and identify root causes of discrepancies.
Interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation.
Review payroll processes, controls and governance frameworks.
Support payroll and HRIS implementation and transformation, including testing, process design and business readiness activities.
Prepare documentation, recommendations and process improvements.
Engage with stakeholders and facilitate workshops
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive end-to-end payroll experience within complex environments.Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
Experience in payroll compliance, governance, remediation, audit or operational improvement activities.
Exposure to enterprise payroll platforms
Well-developed analytical, problem-solving
Previous involvement in payroll transformation, system implementation or change projects will be highly regarded.
