- Investment Operations Analyst
Description
About us
We are a purpose-led family office working in service of nature, with a long-term commitment to restoring ecosystems, strengthening communities and supporting practical pathways to a more regenerative future.
The role
We are seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join us on a 12 month, fixed term contract (with the possibility to extend). This is a rare opportunity to see how capital is managed across public, private and venture markets, while building the operational backbone the team relies on.
This is primarily an operations and support role – keeping the investment function accurate, efficient and well organised. You will work directly with the Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst, with genuine exposure to the investment process and room to develop skills in research and portfolio management .
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of investment data, records and valuations, working with external providers and resolving discrepancies with the Finance team.
- Coordinate investment-related tax and regulatory documentation with internal teams and external advisers, ensuring timely and complete submission.
- Process subscription documents and coordinate capital calls through to completion.
- Manage investment documentation and portal access across the team and external partners.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting, and onboard new investments into the reporting system.
- Develop and maintain the SharePoint architecture that underpins governance of the investment pipeline.
- Apply AI tools to improve the efficiency and quality of the team’s operations, analysis and reporting.
- Provide research and analytical support to the Portfolio Manager and Analyst, building your investment knowledge across asset classes over time.
About you
- A graduate or recent graduate with a tertiary qualification – business, finance, economics or a related quantitative field all welcome.
- A passion for nature and investing sustainably, aligning with our purposeful investment philosophy.
- Genuinely interested in markets and investing, with the ambition to build a long-term career in research and portfolio management.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organised and efficient, with a sense of ownership for getting things right.
- Tech- and AI-savvy, with a bias toward automating repetitive work.
- Adaptable and willing to take on varied tasks in a small, evolving team.
- A clear communicator who works well with internal and external stakeholders.
If you are early in your career, energised by markets and excited by the chance to learn inside a purpose-driven family office, we would love to hear from you.
