Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions across the group, including general ledger maintenance, financial consolidation, and month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Partner with the CFO and external professional advisors to support statutory reporting, annual audits, and other regulatory filing requirements.
• Oversee daily financial operations, including cash flow monitoring, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and employee expense reimbursement processes.
• Provide operational support for investment and trading activities, including transaction processing and settlement when required.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors to facilitate corporate tax compliance and filings across multiple jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia.
• Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, statutory obligations, and internal governance policies.
• Prepare and submit Financial Resources Rules (FRR) returns and related regulatory reports in accordance with SFC requirements.
• Act as a key contact point for external service providers, including fund administrators, auditors, accountants, bankers, tax consultants, and immigration specialists, ensuring timely and effective coordination.
• Review and validate periodic Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and reports prepared by fund administrators.
• Support the oversight of fund-related financial reporting, investor communications, audit coordination, and regulatory filings.
• Partner with the HR function on finance-related employee matters, including payroll administration, MPF contributions, leave provisions, employment documentation, and visa-related support.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Solid experience in financial accounting, fund operations, or corporate finance within the asset management, investment management, private equity, hedge fund, or financial services industry.
• Familiarity with fund structures, fund administration processes, NAV reporting, and regulatory reporting requirements would be highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, tax compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working alongside external professional service providers.
• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting systems.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills would be advantageous.
