Lead Business Systems Analyst - Data Migration, Payroll & Deployment Readiness

Position Summary

This role leads the planning, coordination, tracking, and business readiness activities for Data Migration, Payroll Readiness, and Deployment Readiness within the Workforce Transformation Program. It owns the integrated readiness plans, detailed task tracking, and cross-workstream coordination required to achieve successful mock conversions, payroll validation, cutover, and production deployment. The role is accountable for planning and readiness-not for executing technical migration, infrastructure, or development activities.

Language Requirement

Business to Native level Japanese is a MUST.

English is nice to have but not required.

Location: Osaka or Tokyo (Able to work out most of the time remotely and travel down to Osaka for business trips when needed only)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the end-to-end Data Migration, Payroll & Deployment Readiness Plan.

• Own detailed task planning and tracking for migration, payroll, environment, and deployment activities.

• Coordinate mock conversions, payroll cycle testing, and deployment readiness reviews.

• Manage cross-workstream dependencies with Business Solution Design, Configuration, Development, Integration, QE, PMO, and Business Process Owners.

• Coordinate environment readiness and test data planning with technical teams.

• Track migration, payroll, and deployment risks, issues, and mitigation actions.

• Coordinate business data validation and reconciliation activities.

• Prepare readiness dashboards and Go/No-Go reporting.

• Support production cutover planning and deployment readiness assessments.

Required Experience

• 5-8+ years in Business Systems Analysis, ERP/HCM delivery, or program delivery.

• Experience with enterprise data migration and payroll testing.

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple vendors.

• Experience in integrated planning, dependency management, and deployment readiness.

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or equivalent preferred.
