Company History

Blue Springs, Missouri, located just east of Kansas City, has a rich history that dates back to the early 19th century. The area was originally inhabited by Native American tribes, including the Osage, who valued the region's natural springs and fertile land.

In the early 1830s, European settlers began to arrive. The town was officially founded in 1880, named after the natural blue springs that flow through the area. These springs provided a vital water source and became a focal point for the burgeoning community. The arrival of the railroad in the late 19th century spurred growth, connecting Blue Springs to larger markets and facilitating trade and travel.

As the 20th century progressed, Blue Springs transformed from a rural community into a suburban city, particularly after World War II. The population surged as families sought the charm of small-town living while maintaining proximity to Kansas City. Today, Blue Springs is known for its vibrant community, excellent schools, and diverse economy.

The city's history is celebrated through various historical sites and events, including the Blue Springs Historical Society, which works to preserve and share the rich heritage of this growing city. As Blue Springs continues to evolve, it remains deeply connected to its roots, fostering a strong sense of community and pride in its history.
