We are seeking a finance professional to join the Finance team, reporting to the Regional Valuation Coordinator. This position is an excellent opportunity for a fast learner motivated to grow in the renewable energy sector, with strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and clear communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities Perform financial valuations of investments using methodologies such as DCF, identifying key performance indicators (IRR, NPV, etc.).
Assess M&A opportunities by applying valuation methodologies including DCF and comparable transactions.
Review and challenge investment assumptions from internal teams or external advisors to ensure robust outcomes.
Identify investment risks, measure their impact on shareholder value, and conduct sensitivity analyses under various scenarios.
Prepare and deliver documentation required for investment approval processes.
Coordinate with advisors involved in financial modeling and project financing.
Support the optimization phase of project development.
Analyse financial information and communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
Manage priorities and deadlines across multiple simultaneous projects in a dynamic environment.
Stay informed about applicable fiscal regulations and renewable energy policies.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree in Business/Finance preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial modeling and valuation, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sector.
Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (VBA knowledge is a plus).
Ability to organize, manage projects, and adapt to changing priorities under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal abilities.
