Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic perspective to our accounting processes, providing insights and oversight to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. While construction industry experience is a valuable asset, we are primarily interested in a candidate's ability to adapt and contribute to our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax accountants for annual audits and tax preparation.
• Optimize accounting processes for efficiency and reliability.
• Financial reporting and analysis for decision-making support.
• Experience with job costing and progress billing preferred.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CPA; experience in the construction industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and industry regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
