The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about financial strategy and have a knack for translating complex financial data into actionable business insights? Do you love to transform big challenges into business opportunities? If your answer is yes, then our CFO role could be the perfect fit. Here, you will be a key strategic partner to our CEO and board of directors, playing an essential role in shaping our financial direction.
You'll also collaborate with other executives to set company-wide financial goals and objectives, guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures, and manage capital request and budgeting processes. We seek a seasoned CFO with a comprehensive background in global financial management and a passion for the gaming and esports industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the Knights' financial strategy, aligning with overall business goals and market trends, particularly within the esports industry. Lead financial planning, risk management, and capital allocation strategies.
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control systems.
- Investor Relations: Communicate financial results and strategy to stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and the media. Build strong relationships with the investment community.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the finance team to ensure optimal performance. Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation within the department.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities, ensuring the Knights' financial sustainability and growth.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Ideally, you have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is strongly preferred.

Minimum 15 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or similar executive role within a major technology company. Experience in a company undergoing digital transformation is highly desirable.

Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing large teams and developing talent.

Strong understanding of the technology sector, with specific expertise in cloud-based solutions and digital revenue models.

Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a record of driving growth and profitability.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to a range of audiences.
