VP/AVP, Internal Audit (Global Markets) - Major Financial Institution

Our client is a leading major financial institution with established presence in the region. It is seeking to hire VP/AVP, Internal Audit - Global Markets in Singapore.

Responsibilities

You will design audit framework, standards and policies within the group. You will be responsible for planning, supervising and executing the audit, risk assessment and special reviews for capital markets business which include front to back investment and operational processes. You will provide an independent assessment of the activities and their conformity of operations control, compliance, corporate procedures as well as applying data analytics in audits. You will prepare and review audit reports, liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities, and communicate audit issues to the senior management.

Requirements

You are a Certified Internal Auditor with at least 7 years of relevant experience in auditing sell-side financial institutions, such as investment banks, capital markets, global markets or securities firms. You possess a strong understanding of financial products and have significant exposure to the Global Markets business or its control and support functions. With excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, you are credible, mature, highly self-driven and relationship builder.
