Description
Position Summary:As a Pega robotics/open span Specialist/Senior Developer you will have in depth experience in both consulting and development skillsets. They will have advanced Pega Robotics development and deployment skills and will be able to work closely with business stakeholders through completing consulting led RPA process assessments, will have experience in developing intelligent process automations using Pega Robotics as well as having experience in agile delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience on versions 19 and 22, including migration experience from v19 to v22. Experience on the Pega robot manager is also a must have skill and .Net is an advantage.
This is a Permanent role. And we will need someone with a blend of good client facing/ consulting skills (i.e., good communication skills, articulate) + experience within technical aspects/delivery. This role sits within Cognizant's RPA Practice.
Mandatory Skills:
• Practical experience using Pega Robotics/Open span RPA at an advanced level.
• Exposure to versions 19 and 22 of Pega robotics as well as use of the Pega v19 to v22 migration tools.
• Experience in Banking and insurance preferred.
• Maintain functionality throughout the migration and develop necessary replacement components, such as when version changes require updates to custom code.
• Ability to quantity migration risks and provide solutions.
• Able to understand processes and simplify where possible, or break down into sub-processes, ability to identify redundancy.
• Able to determine ROI of processes and create business pipeline. Work with the business to identify best cases for automation.

• Capable of playing a lead role and communicating requirements to both onshore and offshore teams.
• Contribute to testing documentation and testing coverage of RPA processes.
• Working on Support and Maintenance activities
• Experience in daily stand ups, retrospectives leveraging agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Manage process delivery: disciplined in managing project scope, timeline, and budget to meet deadlines.
• Able to architect, present and explain RPA solutions to various stakeholder groups.
• Able to quickly understand customers' business processes and explore and architect solutions leveraging RPA tools.
• Willingness to keep up to date on the latest versions of Pega Robotics/Openspan and new functionality.
• Able to work within project schedule constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues and assisting with replanning where necessary.
• Knowledge of RPA and AI API's
• Strong experience using software technologies such as .Net Framework and SQL scripting.
• Ability to manage development team members working on support and Maintenance activities.
• Be an expert in agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD) and work closely with the Business Analyst and functional experts.
• Maintain strict control over both the scope and schedule of your project.
• Initiative-taker: self-directed and initiative-taking in managing tasks and setting challenging targets to achieve client's demands.

• Enthusiastic and unprompted attitude for implementing and developing new operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work on the Pega robotics version 19 to 25 migration.
• Mentor team members in v22 of Pega robotics.
• Lead architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of Pega robotics/openspan RPA solutions; oversee teams, mentor new members, and promote best practices.
• Engage with client stakeholders to thoroughly understand existing processes, streamline where feasible, or decompose into sub-processes as needed, while proactively identifying redundancies.
• Documented business processes with Process Definition Documents (PDD) and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work as a developer role and managing both onshore and offshore teams.
• Contribute to solution documentation to support solution transition and maintenance, do effort estimation, Delivery planning, Software Quality Assurance
• Creating Handover Documentation
• Able to deliver on assigned responsibilities adhering to coding standards, policies, and procedures.
• Create, maintain, and manage technical quality assurance processes and guidelines.
• Working on Support and Maintenance activities
• Use agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD) and work closely with the Business Analyst and functional experts.
• Deliver on assigned responsibilities adhering to coding standards, policies, and procedures.
• Work within project schedule constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues.
• Scheduling and conducting quality audit inspections, and analysing and reviewing systems, data, and documentation.
• Identifying variations and potential high-risk areas in securing adherence to standards and procedures
• Recommending corrective action plans and improvements in the resolution of non-compliance with standards detected through monitoring and auditing of processes and procedures.
• Communicating, educating, and consulting with users and management to ensure awareness and adherence to standards, procedures and quality control issues and activities
• Assisting in troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, and resolving RPA problems and issues

Salary Range: >$100,000
