Role Overview
The Sales Enablement Lead - Custom Solutions (RFPs) will play a key role within the Institutional Product Marketing team, leading the firm's RFP and investor inquiry process for customised investment solutions and separate accounts.
This role requires a detail-oriented communicator and project leader with exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing institutional RFPs or DDQs within investment management or private markets, strong stakeholder management abilities, and the ability to coordinate complex, multi-departmental projects under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
RFP & Investor Inquiry Management
- Lead the end-to-end process for RFPs, DDQs, and other formal investor inquiries related to custom mandates.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Investments, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Marketing) to gather accurate and timely information.
- Facilitate kick-off meetings, define timelines, and manage deliverables across stakeholders.
- Ensure responses align with brand, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for investor requests, ensuring clarity, consistency, and persuasive messaging.
- Build and maintain a best-in-class RFP content library to support future responses.
- Partner with Compliance and Marketing to ensure all materials adhere to regulatory and brand requirements.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to position the firm's custom solutions effectively.
- Contribute to the development of sales collateral, pitch materials, and investor content as needed.
- Support continuous improvement of processes, templates, and knowledge-sharing practices across the RFP function.
Essential:
- 10+ years' experience in RFPs, sales enablement, marketing communications, or investor documentation within investment management; private markets experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of institutional investor requirements and due diligence processes.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience using RFP management platforms - Loopio preferred, though open to other platforms (e.g., RFPIO, Qvidian).
- Experience in alternative investments such as private equity, credit, or infrastructure.
- Strong analytical ability and familiarity with performance and investment data.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in finance, economics, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Passionate about delivering excellence, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
