Senior Project Finance Manager (m/w/d) in Renewable Energies

As a Senior Project Finance Manager, you will be responsible for structuring and placing complex project financings for wind, solar and storage projects, which are financed by non-recourse project financing (currently totalling almost EUR 2 billion). You will oversee international financing processes, negotiate with banks and financial institutions, and contribute to the strategic development of our portfolio. Working in a dynamic, innovative and international environment, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to make a significant contribution to the implementation of our ambitious growth plan.
Your sunny outlook:

• Structure and place international project financings independently
• Negotiate with banks, financial institutions, and advisors for debt capital placement
• Together with legal advisors, prepare and negotiate financing agreements (LMA standards)
• Review and optimize project contracts (EPC, PPA, O&M) for bankability
• Together with external advisors, conduct due diligence (mainly technical, legal, financial) and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Legal, Tax, PPA Origination) and external partners
• Manage and validate complex financial models; perform sensitivity analyses
• Monitor capital market trends and develop innovative financing structures

We'll get wind of that soon:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project financing, ideally in renewable energy
• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or similar
• Strong analytical skills and experience in due diligence, risk assessment, and contract negotiation
• Leadership experience with deal teams and mentoring junior talent
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is advantageous
• Willingness to travel and ability to work in international teams
