Senior Payroll Officer | Northside location | Permanent position Your new company
This growing Queensland-based company operating in a niche sector is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The position will be working in their Pinkenba offices, which offers plenty of onsite car parking.

Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Setting up new employees on the payroll system

Processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll

Processing leave entitlements

Preparing monthly payroll reports

Processing terminations

Payroll tax, Workcover and superannuation reporting

Communication with various key stakeholders across the business

Assisting with ongoing process improvement

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

End-to-end payroll experience within a medium to larger-sized environment

Strong knowledge of payroll compliance

Experience with award interpretation

Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders
