The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is currently seeking a dedicated, flexible, and service orientated individual to be our Security Manager!

The Security Manager is responsible for leading the safety and security operations the hotel. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring a secure, welcoming environment for our guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee all aspects of hotel safety and security, ensuring compliance with local laws and internal policies
• Respond promptly and effectively to guest and employee emergencies, incidents, and safety concerns
• Prepare detailed incident and investigation reports, maintaining accurate records
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate a team of security personnel
• Manager Loss Prevention
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate safety and emergency response protocols
• Serve as a property ambassador for our hotel's Safety Committee
• Collaborate with hotel leadership to enhance the guest experience through visible security presence and customer service initiatives
• Create and manage departmental schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency
• Oversee payroll and timekeeping for the security team

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of previous customer service experience and Security Management or relevant management experience
• Weekend availability required
• Proven track record in managing and high-volume operations
• Good communication skills and customer service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
