A leading trading firm is looking to make a senior hire in their London Finance function, responsible for managing regulatory reporting, capital adequacy monitoring, and ensuring compliance with EU and UK financial regulations.

The role involves comprehensive regulatory reporting tasks including:

• Daily monitoring of capital adequacy and key financial ratios
• Preparing, production and submission quarterly regulatory returns
• Maintaining robust reporting frameworks with data validations
• Producing management information and responding to regulatory queries
• Assessing impacts of new business initiatives and regulatory changes

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Qualified accountant or CFA certification
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in financial services
• Deep understanding of IFPR, IFR/IFD, and CRR/CRD regulations
• Knowledge of capital requirements for market risk across capital markets
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
• Experience with regulatory reporting software
