DAVINCI TP, a leading company in the distribution of SICAV investment funds, based in Uruguay, is seeking to expand its team with a Product Specialist.
We are looking for a highly qualified professional with experience in the financial market and strong knowledge of investment products and asset classification.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Academic background in finance, economics, business engineering, or related fields.
Previous experience in the management, analysis, or marketing of financial products, preferably investment funds or SICAVs.
Deep knowledge of the fund industry, regulation, and international financial regulations.
Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Customer Orientation and teamwork skills.
Ability to innovate and adapt in a constantly changing environment.
Proficiency in Spanish and English.

Job Purpose:
Product Specialist – Mutual funds & Alternative Investments- Responsible for collaborating in investments, marketing and client service activities for institutions and intermediaries in Latin America and US Offshore.
Key responsibilities/accountabilities:
Product Specialist
Detailed knowledge of the firm’s investment philosophy and products to credibly represent the firm.
Articulate portfolio positioning and performance for existing products to the firm’s clients and prospects with conviction.
Explain investment guidelines, performance calculation and attribution.
Provide feedback from clients/marketplace to the Investment Team to ensure timely development of new product initiatives.
Project work – development of new products/investment vehicles and associated project plan and management.
Client Servicing
Establish and maintain relationships via ongoing communication with the firm’s prestigious institutional client and consultant base.
Generation of content, analysis and information, performance data and attribution for clients.
Addressing technical questions and responding proactively to queries.
Production of client reports and oversight/responsibility for outgoing client and consultant material.
Handle all new client onboardings, inflow and outflow requests and terminations.
Marketing
Contribute to the overall marketing effort
Partner with marketing colleagues to leverage knowledge and ensure consistent messaging.
Expanding and develop existing markets and relationships – present and pitch to prospective clients and consultants.
Ensure timely and accurate RFP completion and oversee creation of client communication materials.
Good appreciation of peer universe within each product segment, including characteristics, recent performance and fee levels.
Organize road shows and seminars/webinars and develop relevant marketing and presentation material.
Requirements
Skills Required:
- Deep knowledge of fixed income markets.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in asset consulting/institutional distribution/client service.
- Comfortably operating in an institutional marketplace.
- Bachelor’s degree; CFA Charterholder and/or other investment qualification strongly preferred.
- Strong client interface skills and sophisticated representative of investment capabilities.
- Passion for communicating complex ideas to a variety of audiences in a compelling fashion.
- Sound judgement and gravitas with the ability to establish strong rapport and credibility.
- Collaborative approach, able to work across borders and cultures with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation communication skills are essential.
- Candidates must have the confidence to present in front of large groups.
- Ability to think and act on both strategic and tactical levels.
- Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing environment.
- Fluency in English is essential, working knowledge of Portuguese is highly desirable.
- Frequent travel is a fundamental part of the role.
