Interim Product Controller (3-6 Months) - Amsterdam

A leading trading firm in Amsterdam is seeking an Interim Product Controller who can start as soon as possible. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Financial Services or Big Four audit, and who preferably have experience within a trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure complete and accurate financial administration and reporting for trading activities

• Execute standard operating procedures and controls to safeguard the integrity of key financial data

• Collect, analyse and present financial information to internal and external stakeholders, including Finance and External Audit

• Take ownership of monthly and quarterly closing processes from a First-Line Risk Control perspective

• Maintain an overview of open information requests, priorities and potential issues

• Support daily operational tasks such as maintaining loan and interest administration

Capabilities & Experience

• Master's degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field

• Mandatory: Experience within Financial Services or Big Four audit

• Preferred: Experience within a trading firm, market-making environment or similar high-paced financial setting

• Professional certifications (RA, RC, CPA, CFA) are a strong advantage

• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with SQL

• Self-starter with excellent organisational skills

• Affinity with Digital Assets is a plus
