In this role, you will:

Overseeing weekly payroll processing for employees and contractors

Utilising a time and attendance system to ensure timesheets are submitted and approved.

Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data integrity across systems.

Preparing payroll reconciliations, superannuation, and leave calculations.

Completing month-end payroll functions and financial reporting.

Interpreting and applying relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and employment contracts.

Responding to internal and external payroll enquiries promptly.

Assisting with audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as a payroll officer

Strong understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation.

Proficiency in payroll systems

Solid Award interpretation experience.

Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
