Flexible Part-Time Payroll officer Your new company
A well-established organisation based in inner west seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join their finance team. Known for their supportive culture and commitment to operational excellence, they offer a stable and flexible working environment.
Your new role
This part-time position (Wednesday to Friday) involves managing end-to-end payroll functions. You'll be responsible for accurate payroll processing, maintaining employee records, handling superannuation and payroll tax lodgements, and preparing monthly reports. The role also includes supporting audits and providing general administrative assistance to the finance team.
What you'll need to succeed

• At least 5 years' experience in payroll
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and HR processes
• Experience with superannuation, payroll tax, and workers' compensation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Experience with Employment Hero is a plus
