Our client is a growing and performing Equity focused hedge fund with offices globally. They are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their Operations team and gain valuable exposure to global financial markets and work closely with their trading team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and traders to provide full operational coverage and support across the trade lifecycle.
• Oversee trade flow from execution through to settlement.
• Perform daily operational tasks, including T0 confirmations, T+1 reconciliations, corporate actions monitoring, conversions, expiries/exercises/fixings, financing, P&L generation/attribution, and FX hedging.
• Liaise with Prime Brokers, Fund Administrators, Brokers, and system vendors to resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain reports and metrics for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of operational controls and procedures.

Profile

To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

• Degree in Business, Finance or relevant disciplines
• At least 4 years of equities operations experience within hedge funds, buy-side firms, investment banks, or fund administrators.
• Experience with Traiana and CTM systems preferred.
• Strong hands on experience in end to end Equity Operations and strong understanding of the entire trade lifecycle
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated interest in process improvement and operational excellence.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
