Description
Friends of Sherrod Brown is seeking an Ohio Regional Finance Director to join the fundraising team of a top-tier Senate race. The Ohio Regional Finance Director will join the in-state fundraising team, reporting to the Ohio State Finance Director.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a strong ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.
The Ohio Regional Finance Director’s duties will include:
- Writing the Regional Finance Plan
- Responsible for all call time follow-up and donor solicitation including pledge follow-up with donors, which includes timely emails, letters, and calls
- Responsible for managing and executing all fundraising events in your region(s)
- Identifying donor prospects in your region
- Writing event and meeting briefings for the Senator
- Working with the Call Time Manager to make sure that your region’s call time needs are met and call sheets are delivered on time and of high quality

Compensation:
Salary: $7,500 monthly
Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance available at no premium.
Leave: Paid time off will be available per campaign policy.
Hours: This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.

Requirements
- One or two cycles of fundraising experience
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to timely needs, including from the principal
- Proficiency in managing donor and prospect data, and/or is quick to learn efficient data management and project management
