About the Role:
Join our growing fleet as Master of our second excursion vessel—a beautiful 165-foot vessel carrying up to 600 passengers through the stunning waters of Naples and Marco Island. This is more than a captain's position; it's a leadership role where you'll shape our safety culture, mentor the next generation of mariners, and help build something special.
What You'll Do:
Command with Confidence
- Navigate and operate a modern excursion vessel in Southwest Florida's pristine coastal waters
- Lead embarkation, voyage operations, and passenger service with professionalism and care
- Exercise expert shiphandling in Naples' and Marco Island's dynamic waterways
Lead and Mentor
- Build and develop a skilled, motivated crew
- Guide crew members through our Z-Card to Officer development track—helping them achieve their licensing goals
- Create a culture of learning and growth (we offer 100% tuition reimbursement for career-related coursework)
Ensure Excellence
Maintain full regulatory compliance with USCG, ISM, and STCW requirements
Keep the vessel audit-ready and inspection-sharp
Oversee maintenance, repairs, and vessel presentation
Partner with our fleet technical team on all vessel systems

Requirements
What We're Looking For
Required:
- U.S. Coast Guard Master license (minimum 200 GT; 1600 GT preferred)
- Valid STCW Management certification
- 5+ years as a senior officer or master on passenger vessels
- Demonstrated experience managing complete USCG inspections (COI renewals, annual inspections)
- Proven vessel superintendent experience on USCG-inspected vessels
- Hands-on drydocking experience—planning, execution, and oversight
- Working knowledge of the ISM Code and SMS implementation
- Strong shiphandling skills in congested or restricted waters
Ideal Candidate Also Has:
- STCW Management Level license or OICNW endorsement
- Experience preparing vessels for ISM audits and maintaining audit readiness
