Description
Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day process in relation to Licensing for SFC and HKMA regulated entities and individuals
- Assist with Senior Manager / MIC appointment related tasks
- Advise on Licensing and Registration matters in support of business initiatives
- Work with global teams to handle licensing issues with cross jurisdictional impact
- Work with and oversee work output of resources in Mumbai
- Coordinate and work with regional counterparts to ensure alignment of approach in relation to the above areas
Requirements
- Relevant experience in compliance, legal, audit, risk management or related function at a large financial institution or financial services regulator
- Good knowledge of licensing regimes and regulations in Hong Kong (SFC, HKMA)
- Broad understanding of regulatory landscape in Hong Kong and ideally across Asia Pacific
- Ability to build strong relationships with members of Legal and Compliance and with employees in different business units
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English is compulsory, fluency in Chinese would be an advantage
- Immediate availability is preferred
