Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Landscape Foreman to lead and manage a variety of landscaping projects, from design implementation to routine maintenance. In this role, you will collaborate with diverse clients, coordinate and oversee projects, and work alongside a dedicated crew to create and maintain exceptional outdoor spaces. Requirements
Complete Projects
Work with other crew members to complete high quality landscaping projects on time.
Manage project leads on preparation, planning, and execution of each job.
Complete pre-walk through with customer/supervisor.
Complete projects based on design, estimate, pre-walk through.
Complete project within estimated hours
Manage Change Orders
Accurate Job Costing
Clock crew in to proper work areas and projects
Upload progress and final photos
Record materials accurately
Complete crew walkthrough and submit to Admin.
Knowledge of Synked up is desired
Manage Equipment
Ensure proper equipment is ready.
Manage equipment rentals as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
Complete Safety Checks weekly
Update equipment board weekly.
Maintain hand tools, wheelbarrows, and small engine tools.
Manage Job Sites
Maintain clean and organized job sites.
Communicate with customers on-site with updates on schedule, change orders, questions, etc.
Manage sub-contractors on site (Irrigation, retaining walls, etc.)
Communicate with job supervisors (builders) on progress, changes, questions, etc.
Job Planning
Complete pre-walk through with customer/supervisor.
Coordinate project material orders with Admin for ordering.
Order materials needed for job.
Manage deliveries.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to and lead crewmates with respect to company rules and safety procedures.
Accurately prepare and submit timesheets for payroll.
Track, maintain and record all job-related materials.
Track and monitor expenses and turn in purchase receipts for each client/customer project.
Ensure company safety procedures and reports are being completed, administered and followed.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
3-5 years of general landscape construction experience.
1-2 years of management experience is highly preferred.
Must be able to operate heavy equipment used on the job and have a valid driver's license.
Ability to use, operate and maintain various machinery and equipment used for completing jobs, including but not limited to skids, dump trucks, hauling trailers, etc.
Knowledge of plants, shrubs and trees used in the region is strongly preferred.
Ability to interact with clients/customers, selling/up-selling landscape services is preferred.
Open to learning new skills and being trained on how to use various equipment and tools.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma and/or G.E.D. strongly preferred but not required.
Prior/current educational knowledge of landscape construction or design/architecture strongly desired.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to converse/communicate (in verbal and written form), read, and interpret information and documentation in English.
Ability to work with and alongside crew members of diverse backgrounds.
**Bilingual in Spanish would be beneficial
COMPUTER SKILLS / APPLICATIONS
Ability to learn and work with computers and applications related to the job/project required.

Lift and/or carry, standing or in bent posture, 80Ibs for up to 5 consecutive hours.
Push and pull, standing or in bent posture, 100lbs for up to 2 consecutive hours.
Carry or push, bulk loads in bags and wheelbarrows, 80Ibs for up to 5 consecutive hours.
Excavate by hand tools for up to 5 consecutive hours.
Load/unload materials from trucks, trailers, and wheelbarrows, 80 lbs. for up to 2 consecutive hours.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires the ability to be able to work outdoors and in all weather conditions.
This job is also seasonal ** Depending on weather, March-Nov.
