Venture Forward is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Laboratory Operations Site Specialist. In this dynamic role, you will provide essential coverage across all client sites, stepping in when VFP employees are out sick or have scheduled days off. Your primary function will be to ensure seamless lab operations at multiple locations, maintaining our high standards and supporting client needs.
As a site specialist, you will play a crucial role in understanding and meeting the expectations of both clients and the VFP Lab Services team. You will actively engage with clients to gather feedback about the services they receive, ensuring continuous improvement and client satisfaction. Working with the management team, you will develop a systematic approach for creating and maintaining onsite operational standards across all client sites, and drive operational initiatives to ensure onsite compliance.
Effective communication and customer service are key components of this role, as you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Job Requirements
- Provide coverage for all VFP client sites as needed, ensuring consistent and reliable lab operations.
- Independently manage onsite operations at client sites, adhering to VFP standards across varying lab sizes and complexities.
- Apply technical expertise in MEP systems and lab metric standards to maintain operational excellence.
- Diagnose and resolve basic operational and mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Actively engage with clients to increase VFP onsite brand and partnership, collect feedback, and ensure client satisfaction with the services provided.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and colleagues by understanding their priorities and working styles.
- Routinely audit cloud-based workspace system to ensure proper functionality and employee engagement.
- Perform routine onsite assessments of VFP sites and employee performance, documenting successes, issues, proposing solutions, helping to implement changes required.
- Assist with training staff on new VFP initiatives
- A vehicle is required for this position as travel between client sites is essential.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a strong technical background.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Salary range for this position is up to $95,000,commensurate with experience and qualifications.
