Our client is a family office looking for an experienced Investment Manager to oversee and manage their investment portfolios. The successful candidate will assist on Alternatives, Venture Capital (VC), and Private Equity investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Oversight: Monitor and recommend investment opportunities; conduct thorough due diligence and complete transactions across various asset classes.
• Client Relations: Identify and engage potential investors; manage client relationships while offering advisory support on portfolio optimization and opportunity sourcing.
• Financial Analysis: Perform extensive financial analysis, risk assessments, and scenario planning for investment proposals, M&A deals, and fundraising strategies.
• Strategic Development: Develop strategic investment recommendations and business plans; prepare compelling pitch materials tailored to investors and stakeholders.
• Market Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry and economic trends, regulatory changes, and market developments in PRC, APAC, and global markets to inform investment strategies.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed investment and financial reports for senior management, ensuring data accuracy and insightful narratives.
• Special Projects: Support special projects both in Hong Kong and overseas, as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of investment experience in Alternatives, VC, and Private Equity, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Education: BA or BS degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or a related field. Strong academic credentials preferred.
• Professional Qualifications: CFA or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
• Analytical Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities in English and Cantonese; fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Personal Attributes: Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and entrepreneurship; must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be detail-oriented.
