Investment Data Analyst Intern Description
The firm is seeking up to three internship candidates for a Summer Program geared towards Quantitative and Data Analysis. The candidate will work with other candidates during the program and report to the firm's Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst to assist with various projects related to our investment process and access to large data sets.
CapWealth's office is located in Franklin TN, about 20 minutes south of Downtown Nashville.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Assist with the ongoing process improvement of our portfolio and research reports utilizing the Bloomberg Terminal and other systems.
- Assist with any system transition or implementation via backchecking data.
- Assist with Ad Hoc Projects and assignments including data gathering for compliance and client services.
- Participate in a research project, which includes researching the best idea stock pick and how it will impact our model strategy.
Requirements
- Currently Pursing a Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math and/or Computer Science.
- Strong interest in Financial Services.
- Working knowledge of finance and economic concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, and/or Python or other programming languages.
