Job Summary:
As an experienced Investment Analyst within the Private and Public Credit team at Texas PSF Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in researching markets and analyzing fund investment opportunities; in addition, you will be expected to provide significant support for modeling co-investments. Investment analysts also assist more senior investment personnel with portfolio management and program administration. This hands-on position involves applying advanced financial analysis, market research, and investment modeling to real-world decisions, while collaborating closely with team members to deliver strategic insights and achieve portfolio objectives.
You’ll conduct macro-level research, assist with due diligence, and contribute to investment recommendations and monitoring activities. We’re seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional with 2+ years of experience in finance or investments who is ready to take ownership of complex projects and contribute meaningfully to a dynamic, credit-focused investment team.
What You’ll Do
Due Diligence & Portfolio Support
Support due diligence processes by compiling research, maintaining deal flow tracking, and drafting internal materials
Evaluate current and new credit investments alongside more senior investment personnel
Track and interpret investment performance data, identifying risks and key trends
Market & Investment Research
Scan public and private markets for emerging trends, risks, and opportunities
Conduct macro and microeconomic research to support investment decisions
Monitor market movements for public investments and track private investment performance
Financial Analysis & Modeling
Take part in financial analysis of investment opportunities, including full valuation modeling
Support team members with scenario analysis, data validation, and return modeling
Create reports that assess liquidity, portfolio risk, and credit fundamentals
Operations & Administrative Support
Manage investment calendars, reporting timelines, and diligence meetings
Prepare investment memos, presentations, and insights for internal review
Maintain thorough records for both public and private credit strategies
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
2+ years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, M&A, private credit, or similar analytical roles.
Strong financial modeling and excel skills
Proficiency with Bloomberg or PitchBook or Power BI or Tableau
Strong understanding of credit metrics and capital structures
Nice to Haves:
Progress toward CFA, CAIA, or equivalent finance certifications
PowerPoint and Presentation skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, methodologies, and market dynamics.
Awareness of economic indicators and market trends.
