Infrastructure & Energy (I&E) is a financing desk focused on providing solutions to asset owners across core and core+ infrastructure sectors. I&E distributes some of the risk it underwrites but also manages a large hold book of senior and mezzanine debt positions and derivatives.
I&E is an integral part of Global Credit and Financing Solutions and the Global Financing and Credit Trading platform within Fixed Income and Currencies. I&E has desks in London and Frankfurt, covering the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, and covers the origination, structuring and distribution of a wide range of products, targeted at clients ranging from corporates, financial institutions, institutional investors to public sector entities across all the infrastructure and energy sectors.
You will work closely with various other financing desks (e.g. Direct Lending, Credit Solutions, Global Emerging Markets, Transportation), banking (leveraged finance and industry groups), structuring and various origination and distribution channels. You will be expected to contribute to the full deal lifecycle, develop broad financing expertise and deep sector knowledge.

- Screen and analyse complex financing opportunities across all sub sectors of the I&E space
- Work with deal captains to run day-to-day tasks of deal execution
- Manage and mentor members of the deal team to produce high quality credit and investment committee memos, review and build complex financial models, liaise with external advisors on due diligence workstreams, coordinate internal approvals, and manage Questions & Answers during syndication
- Participate in client meetings and originate transactions alongside senior management of I&E
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification and/or work experience
- Experience in executing I&E financing transactions across a variety of jurisdictions and products including senior debt, junior debt and capital markets
- Credit analytical aptitude in navigating complex financing opportunities
- Comfortable with reviewing complex financial models and running sensitivities, with experience in debt sizing for project and/or acquisition finance across capital stack
- Experience in interpreting and negotiating transaction documents
- Excellent stakeholder handling and process management capabilities, with strong communication skills and a problem solving mindset
