W e are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Head of Agency Lending and Treasury Risk, Securities Services
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader for the position of Head of Agency Lending and Treasury Risk. This role sits within the Securities Services Non-Financial Risk team and is responsible for the end-to-end governance, risk oversight, and control framework related to the Agency Lending & Liquidity Services product.
The successful candidate will act as the central point for all product related non-financial risk matters, ensuring that our service delivery aligns with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and the bank's internal risk appetite.

In this role you will:
- Support new product and growth initiatives. Review and understand the risks front to back, ensuring risks are mitigated and controlled.
- Consolidate existing product governance meetings into a single non-Financial Risk meeting for the Agency Lending & Liquidity Services products.
- Establish and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and key control indicators (KCIs) specific to the Agency Lending & Liquidity Services products, providing regular reporting to senior management and relevant committees.
- Support the development of credit controls for Treasury product. Ensure that financial risks that manifest from the product are understood, mitigated and monitored within appetite
- Collaborate with the product and tax teams to comprehend the changing tax landscape and implement controls to mitigate associated risks
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Deep securities services knowledge, agency lending and treasury product knowledge, and a robust understanding of operational and non-financial risk principles
- An in-depth u nderstanding of stock lending and treasury functions, their operational processes and the financial risks that can manifest with a proven track record in a senior risk management, governance, or control's role, preferably within a 1st or 2nd line of defence function.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex risk concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite executives
- Ability to see the big picture and translate business strategy into a pragmatic risk framework with strong judgment and the ability to make tough decisions under pressure.
- Capable of building strong relationships and gaining buy-in from stakeholders across business, technology, and control functions, someone who is passionate about delivering for clients while maintaining the integrity of the bank's risk appetite.
