Description
OverviewSky Valley Country Club is a semi-private facility. Membership is available and is required for most club social activities. The club hosts non-member golfers and group functions at our world-class facilities. The Golf Course operates year-round. The community of Sky Valley is located between Clayton, Georgia and Highlands, North Carolina and is surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest. Sky Valley has approximately 500 single family homes and 300 condominiums spread across 2,400 acres of pristine mountain terrain. Elevations range from 3,200 to 4,200 feet.
Experience Required
- Class A PGA member or currently Level 2 or higher
- 1-3 years of management experience.
- Must have customer service, training and supervision of staff, fiscal experience, and tournament organization skills.
- Club Prophet or other POS experience.
- Simulator experience.
- Must be able to motivate and lead staff.
- Must have excellent computer skills
- High end country club or resort experience
Essential Responsibilities
- Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous, and friendly service to all members, guests, and employees.
- Assist in designing, promoting, and directing all golf related activity.
- Responsible for tournament management using rules sheets, scorecards, etc.
- Supervises and Trains golf shop and outside services staff.
- Conducts private lessons, golf clinics, and club fittings.
- Coordinate hourly golf staff payroll management and schedule.
- Maintains retail operation and inventory controls.
- Assists in maintaining an attractive, orderly appearance in the golf shop.
- Participate in stock and special orders including ordering, receiving, and displaying.
- Must be knowledgeable of all club rules, polices, and procedures.
