Overview

The function of this position is to manage the daily business of golf operations and to convey a vibrant and friendly golf experience for members, guests and staff. A love of golf and a strong knowledge of technology is required, plus the ability to easily interact with the Cross Creek community.

It will require 30-35 hours per week, preferably with several hours completed on weekends.

Responsibilities and duties are listed below as guidelines and are not limited to the following:

• Participate in staffing hires and supervision of staff of the Pro Shop, Cart Barn, Ranger and Starter positions
• Assist in preparing employee schedules and bi-weekly payroll summaries
• Prepare, organize and conduct functions of league play, tournaments, and outside groups and coordinate the functions with the Restaurant Manager, Men's and Women's Leagues, special tournaments and outside group functions.
• Thoroughly familiarize oneself with Golf Genius and utilize its features to the maximum benefit of league play, prizes, placements, etc.
• Load tee sheets on the computer and post on the website weekly
• Maintain the Golf information on the website
• Manage and maintain merchandising, supplies and inventory
• Assist with invoices, payments, and emails
• Manage rates and fees through EZ Tee Pro
• Work in Pro Shop as back up to staff, including checking in golfers, sales of merchandise, and scheduling tee times
• Assist in USGA/GHIN system clean-up
• Participate in member golf activities where appropriate and needed, with the opportunity to provide golf instruction and clinics to members
• All other responsibilities as deemed appropriate for this position and as needed
