Step into a dynamic position at JPMorganChase as a Control Manager within our Global Investment Banking Control Management team, where your leadership in regulatory change, governance, and risk management will elevate our operational excellence. Join us to champion control initiatives, collaborate across key teams, and make a lasting impact on our business and your career.As a Control Manager within the Global Investment Banking Control Management team, you will be responsible for evaluating and implementing regulatory changes, facilitating governance forums, as well as supporting risk event management and smooth running of internal audits. You will drive the execution of control programs and initiatives, while enhancing the overall control and operational risk environment. This role entails close collaboration with Control Managers, Legal, Compliance, and Audit teams.
Job responsibilities
- Coordinate governance forums focused on regulatory and policy matters, ensuring effective oversight and documentation of decisions and actions.
- Support the GIB CM group with identification, documentation, and investigation of risk events, including root cause analysis and remediation planning.
- Support timely escalation and reporting of risk events to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Assess impact of regulatory changes which includes partnership with OLO, Legal, Compliance, and Business Management teams to implement necessary changes in response to regulatory developments.
- Drive and support the implementation and running of control initiatives, including process improvements, automation, and control enhancements.
- Prepare and present control-related reports, including risk event summaries, regulatory change assessments, and control initiative updates to the management.
- Ensure effective coordination and enhancement of control and operational risk environment.
- Support the assigned GIB Controls Audit lead in coordinating stakeholder efforts to support with smooth running of audits.
