OverviewSim Club LA is an exciting new golf simulation and social destination coming to Calabasas in early Spring 2026. Our 6,000-square-foot facility will feature 8-9 state-of-the-art golf simulator bays, a full bar, a casual café, and a private event room for parties, lessons, and corporate gatherings. We're creating a relaxed yet high-end atmosphere where guests can enjoy great food, craft cocktails, and premium golf experiences - whether they're practicing, playing with friends, or just hanging out.
We're seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee all aspects of daily operations and help bring Sim Club LA from concept to grand opening. The ideal candidate is a hospitality professional with strong leadership and organizational skills who thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused environments. Golf or sports entertainment experience is a major plus. This is a hands-on role that will be deeply involved in pre-opening setup - including hiring staff, implementing systems, and coordinating food, beverage, and simulator operations. Once open, the GM will lead the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in launching a unique golf and entertainment concept in Los Angeles. As the first GM of Sim Club LA, you'll have significant influence over culture, operations, and the guest experience from day one.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of management experience in hospitality, bar/restaurant operations, or related venues.
- Proven success leading teams in high-volume or experiential environments.
- Strong operational, financial, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of golf or sports entertainment operations strongly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Self-starter comfortable working in a start-up environment and building systems from the ground up.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead all operational aspects of the venue, including bar, café, simulator bays, and event spaces.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of approximately 20 employees, including bartenders, servers, cooks, and shift managers.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships for food, beverages, and supplies.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for service, cleanliness, and safety.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and daily reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
- Support membership and event management, including private parties and group bookings.
- Collaborate with ownership on budgets, performance targets, and operational strategy.
- Foster a positive, customer-centric culture that aligns with Sim Club LA's brand and values.
