A well-established organisation operating in the industrial and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. The business has a strong reputation for delivering technical solutions across complex projects and continues to experience sustainable growth.
Your new role
You will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and submission of monthly and annual financial statements
• Managing cash flow and forecasting
• Budget development and monitoring
• Tax compliance including BAS, GST, PAYG, and FBT
• Oversight of asset management and supplier agreements
• Liaising with auditors and financial institutions

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA or CA preferred
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
• Proficiency in Xero and advanced Excel skills; experience with PowerBI desirable
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
