Description
Assist with the general operations of the accounting department including processing financial data for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting functions. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Accounting Manager and the General Manager.
Requirements
Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and practices, and skill in applying them.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.
Ability to work effectively with numbers.
Skill in operation of copier/fax, calculator, and other office equipment.
Ability to effectively multi-task while meeting goals of position.
Ability to deal with a wide variety of incoming telephone calls including taking necessary steps to respond to customer requests.
Ability to communicate effectively to complete duties.
Ability to deal effectively with stress and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated self-starter.
