As the Facilities Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in maintaining the physical integrity of our world-class hotel. Working alongside the Director of Facilities, you'll help shape and execute strategic initiatives for the Engineering & Security department-driving operational excellence, team performance, and facility reliability.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the Director in managing day-to-day engineering and security operations across all hotel facilities, this will include scheduling, payroll, managing the department checkbook, ordering/purchasing supplies, support with forecasting.
- Leading efforts to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee, mentor, coach and develop a skilled engineering and security team, developing training programs, and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
- Attend hotel meetings to be familiar with and support business within the hotel. Plan and execute departmental meetings focused on training, development and communication.
- Act as a member of the hotel emergency response team.
- Lead the hotel's preventive maintenance program, ensuring all guest rooms are in working order and well maintained. Support the completion of Capital Projects.
- Meet with and coordinate with contractors to coordinate and/or follow up on hotel projects.
- Coordinate & support hotel departments (i.e. Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, IT, Sales and Events) to focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all systems-especially HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical-are operating optimally through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Assist and support our sales team with DJ's, bands, A/V sets up and events.
We're looking for a hands-on leader with some technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building and maintaining exceptional spaces for both guests and colleagues. This position will require and open and flexible schedule that may require shifts on weekend and holidays.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000 commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional leadership skills
- 3 or more years of hotel or building maintenance experience required
- Prior leadership experience a plus
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of building systems and the ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment
- Hotel experience strongly preferred
