Description
Join our dynamic leadership team as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for Finance and Administration/Chief Business Officer (VPFA/CBO). This pivotal role ensures seamless operations at the executive level, supporting strategic initiatives and fostering collaboration across the university.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Office Management: Manage complex calendars, draft and edit official communications, and coordinate executive travel.
- Meeting & Event Coordination: Organize finance-related meetings, prepare agendas and materials, and oversee event logistics.
- Fiscal & Budget Support: Assist with budget monitoring and financial reporting.
- Records & Confidentiality: Maintain secure records and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
- Research & Reporting: Collect and analyze data for decision-making and reporting to leadership and the University System of Georgia.
- Team & Process Support: Collaborate across divisions and supervise temporary staff or student workers.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of executive-level administrative experience (preferably in higher education or fiscal affairs).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn university systems quickly.
- Discretion in handling sensitive information.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced secretarial/business certification.
- Experience supporting finance or executive leadership in a university setting.
