About the Role

Our client is seeking an Equity Analyst (Generalist) to join our investment team. The successful candidate will play a key role in generating actionable investment ideas and conducting in-depth fundamental research across global markets, including US, European, and China A/H shares. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a long-term, value-oriented investment philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

• Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive fundamental analysis of companies across multiple sectors and geographies.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, including forecasting earnings, cash flows, and valuations.
• Idea Generation:
  • Identify and recommend long-term investment opportunities aligned with the fund's strategy.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors impacting portfolio companies.
• Portfolio Support:
  • Provide ongoing coverage and updates on existing holdings.
  • Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the portfolio managers.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with senior analysts and portfolio managers to refine investment theses.
  • Participate in team discussions and contribute to overall portfolio construction decisions.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA designation or progress toward CFA preferred.
• Experience:
  • 1-4 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or asset management.
  • Exposure to global markets (US/EU/China) and ability to analyze companies across sectors.
• Skills:
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
