This leading Regional Bank is looking for seasoned investment strategist, covering macro, FX and other asset classes for individual and institutional clients. You will be joining a team of 5, great exposure and great remuneration package are provided.

As the Director, Investment Strategist in a Leading Regional Bank, your key responsibility will be to:
- Conducting in-depth research on global macroeconomies, with a primary focus on FX markets, and secondary coverage of equities, fixed income, and commodities, using economic analysis and quantitative methods to identify trends and investment opportunities
- Support the Head of Investment Strategy to surpass revenue objectives through the amplification of fee income from diverse investment instruments, with a particular accent on foreign exchange (FX) solutions.
- Formulate house view on multifaceted asset categories, encompassing equities, fixed income securities, alternative investments, and notably FX markets; spanning geographical domains such as advanced and emerging economies, alongside sector-specific analyses.
- Disseminate strategic insights to key internal audiences, client relationship executives, and high-net-worth clientele.
- Participate in curated client engagements alongside relationship executives to articulate macroeconomic perspectives, with an enhanced focus on FX dynamics, and address bespoke inquiries.
- Contribute to daily strategy briefings, internal forums, and innovation sessions by articulating forward-looking views.
- Elevate the institution's prestige through targeted visibility in regional and global media channels.
- Deliver authoritative presentations on investment theses, emphasizing FX trends, at industry symposia and media platforms to establish preeminent intellectual capital
- Contribute to the creation of dual-language (English and Mandarin) analytical materials and curate sophisticated investment reports.
- Design bespoke advisory frameworks for varied client archetypes, incorporating optimized asset distributions.
- Oversee and refine advisory frameworks in response to evolving market landscapes, particularly FX volatilities, and apprise relevant parties of proposed adjustments.
- Devise tactical and strategic investment motifs attuned to client imperatives, spotlighting FX opportunities, and collaborate with product experts to advocate tailored propositions to relationship executives and clientele.
- Craft routine market overviews, urgent bulletins, and client-centric intellectual contributions, with amplified coverage of FX developments.
- Undertake supplementary responsibilities as designated by the Head of Investment Strategy.
requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (such as CFA, CPWP, CFP) are a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of research, analyst, or asset management experience in leading banks or financial institutions, with a strong focus on macroeconomics and FX.
- Deep knowledge of global and local markets, particularly FX, and familiarity with other asset classes and investment products.
- Strong understanding of China's economy and policies.
- Excellent and persuasive writing and presentation skills.
- Proficient in public speaking and conducting briefings for frontline teams and clients.
- Strong command of written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese) and English.
- Self-motivated with strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- A critical thinker willing to challenge mainstream views.
