The Continuous Improvement Specialist will oversee the examination and evaluation of the organization's processes and operational procedures to ensure they are both compliant and efficient. This is a professional who ensures that processes within an organization meet established standards. They conduct systematic inspections, measurements, and audits of processes and data to monitor and improve quality. This may involve collaborating with various departments to implement standardized procedures and coordinating with financial teams. They also develop audit checklists utilizing contracts, government requirements, and internal procedures. They facilitate the optimization of procedures, identify, and eliminate inefficiency, and ensure adherence to industry-standards and legal regulations. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Their expertise will enable the business to operate towards optimal efficiency by reducing risks and boosting compliance, leading to improved operational performance.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Performing routine internal audits on operational processes.
- Identifying and assessing areas of significant business risk.
- Identifying areas of process inefficiency and proposing innovative solutions.
- Championing process improvement projects and managing implementation of the same.
- Drafting and presenting audit reports to the management.
- Controlling the full audit cycle, inclusive of risk management and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Bachelor's in Business Administration or Quality Systems.
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, project management and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with auditing software.
- Experience working with process improvement teams, ISO audits, Quality Management Systems.
Description of Physical Working Environment:
- Normal office environment. Routinely works from a sitting position with a computer. Repetitive typing and computer use required. Regular bending, twisting, and light lifting is common with or without reasonable accommodation.
