Description
• Provide quality service to members and potential members by opening business memberships, servicing existing memberships, harvest relationships with businesses, vendors, and the community.
• Resolve questions and concerns from members, potential members, and employees regarding account research, product knowledge, online banking, etc.
• Visit businesses to solicit new memberships as well as cross-sell commercial products and services. Seek opportunities to promote business accounts membership in the community. Manage sales campaigns, develop marketing opportunities, etc.
• Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and problem-solving skills at all times. Maintain a poised and positive image, including proper email and phone etiquette, and writing skills.
• Remain available to assist the phone center, other branches, and online channels with membership questions, inquiries, concerns, product knowledge, etc.
• Oversees the general compliance and accuracy of business accounts. Reports quality control errors to employee and managers.
• Assist other employees regarding commercial account enrollment and procedures. Perform training for employees on commercial account opening and maintenance.
• Evaluate risk assessments on all business accounts and as needed for reviews, development, audits, etc.
• Handle business service operations such as remote deposit capture, online wires, business payroll files, online banking maintenance, etc. Must avoid conflicts/interruptions with business products to maintain timely delivery of business products and solutions.
• Serves as the credit union’s liaison for third party vendors, ensuring business members receive proper support and sustains contact with company representatives. Seek new products and services for businesses that compliment the credit union’s strategy and mission.
• Support the commercial lending department with various tasks such as, but not limited to, loan document retention, loan processing, obtaining insurance and/or financials from borrowers, etc.
• Remain alert to account changes and information that raises suspicion of fraudulent activity. Adheres to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Minimum 12 months experience similar or related experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Personal computer, basic office equipment.
• Friendly, outgoing individual with great organization skills and a strong work ethic. Excellent at explaining difficult concepts in a manner that is easily understood by others. Must be able to represent the credit union in a professional manner.
• While the following list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented, identified physical requirements include ability to lift items, but not to exceed 25lbs, to stand on feet for long periods of time and to operate standard office equipment.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
