Description

The East Grand Forks Civil Service is accepting applications for a Full Time City Clerk.

Responsibilities include performing difficult administrative work for elected officials and administrators, preparing related correspondence, records, reports or files, assisting with maintaining financial data and official records, responding to inquiries from the public, administering local elections, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the City Administrator.

Qualifications: Associate degree in accounting, business administration, finance or equivalent education and two years of experience in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Due to election responsibilities MN residency required within 6-month probationary period. MN Certified Municipal Clerk preferred.

2025 Pay Scale: $27.66 - $38.15. The City offers a competitive salary and fringe benefit package including paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, health and life insurance, a retirement plan and a flexible bnefits plan.
