Perseid seeks an enthusiastic Beverage Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader all hotel and outlet operations teams. You will be part of a team that is passionate about celebrating creativity and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Perseid is the main restaurant of Hotel Saint Augustine, a 71-room Bunkhouse hotel in the heart of Montrose.

The Role:

The Beverage Manager is responsible for...

The daily operations of Perseid and our Augustine Lounge Bar as well as other potential activations at the hotel and restaurant. You will train and motivate staff to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities include managing scheduling, staffing levels, training, inventory, as well as supporting ongoing staff development to promote a high-performance, service-focused culture. This person should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate strong leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the beverage operations of Perseid and Augustine Lounge and other activations as applicable
• Training & Development of bartenders to ensure seamless & luxurious guest service
• Purchasing, Invoicing, Coding, and Inventory
• Manages schedule and payroll for colleagues
• Communicate information to the beverage team giving them the knowledge to be individually empowered.
• Ensures a welcoming physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the department, including inspecting tabletops, countertops, bar and side stations through floor presence.
• Supervise the performance, attendance, attitude, appearance, and conduct of the service team.
• Monitoring and responding to guest experience opportunities in real-time.
• Ability to roll out and execute initial training as well as continuing education for colleagues.
• Coaching in the moment to colleagues for both celebrations and opportunities.
• Designs seasonal/event drink menus for our outlets.

Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position. Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of prior beverage management experience, required.
• Prior bartending experience required.
• Flexible schedule to include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Inventory and purchasing experience required.
