About the Role

Our client is seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented professional to join their Back Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cash and stock reconciliations, with a strong focus on data handling, automation, and reporting using advanced Excel and related tools.

Key Responsibilities

• • Perform daily cash and stock reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Manage and maintain operational files and reports using Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA).
  • Support automation and efficiency initiatives, with exposure to Power BI and Java a plus.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (operations, treasury, and accounting) to ensure data integrity.
  • Participate in process documentation and improvement within back-office functions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• • 2-3 years of experience in a banking back-office or reconciliation role.
  • Strong command of Excel (VBA, macros, pivot tables); experience with Power BI and Java considered an advantage.
  • Good understanding of how a bank back office operates, including settlements and cash flow processes.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive and structured working style with strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and French
