Our client is a global leader in Corporate Services and is seeking an AVP- Fund Reporting -Real Estate Funds.

Japanese-speaker required: due to the nature of client engagements

Please note, for this role, due to the language requirements, our client is willing to sponsor Visa/Employment Pass for candidates who meet the criteria, and can consider candidates based overseas who would be willing to relocate

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

• Review monthly/ quarterly financial reports and valuations such as NAV/ Cash analysis
• Provide support for deal acquisition and management in accounting and reporting functions
• Help the team lead with asset sales, including preparing fund flows and working with tax teams, and support the portfolio deal management in accounting and reporting.
• Review monthly reports, check quarterly valuations (NAV, debt, and cash), and tracked liquidity and cash regularly.
• Work closely with the relevant internal teams such as legal, tax and legal teams to ensure smooth flow of deliverables
• Be involved in projects such as process improvements initiatives to improve workflow

To be eligible for this role you shall have:

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in an accounting function in financial services preference in Private Equity/ Real Estate funds background
• Chartered Accountant or Bachers degree in accountancy is essential
• Candidates directly from Big 4 accounting firms with experience in auditing financial services/ Real estate may apply
• Strong stakeholder / vendor management skills with the ability to work with members of different departments is critical
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work independently in a high-pressure environment
• Japanese speaking skills is essential to liaise with stakeholders based in Japan.
