As an Associate in the Financial Reporting team, you will apply your up-to-date product, industry, and market knowledge to consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data. You will coordinate data collection and business results with various lines of business and reporting teams, assist in assessing issues and outcomes, and communicate financial information clearly. This role offers the opportunity to participate in the production, review, and filing of reports for regulatory agencies, interpret regulatory requirements, and work across diverse functions and locations.
Job responsibilities
- Apply up-to-date product/industry/market knowledge in specialty areas of reporting
- Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness; perform quarter-over-quarter variance analytics
- Coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with various lines of business, Regulatory Controllers and reporting teams
- Assist in the thorough assessment of the issues and outcomes
- Clearly communicate financial information to the lines of businesses, and flag potential issues
- Participate in various aspects for the production, review and filing of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports for various regulatory agencies that are used by the regulators for compiling widely-used statistics on the levels of, and changes in, domestic and international portfolio positions
- Interpret and define regulatory requirements and coordinate internal and external policies
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 4+ years in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, and/or regulatory reporting
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in Product Control, Financial Control or knowledge Reg reporting
- Strong skills in time management, problem solving, written and oral communication.
- Team player, with ability to work effectively across diverse functions, locations and businesses
- Excellent Excel and computer skills
- Project management experience/skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage
- Experience in discounted cash flow valuation a plus
- Should be flexible to work in LATAM shifts
