What the day will look like
In this wide and varied role your responsibilities will include:
- Proactive identification and generation of transaction activity with Aon's extensive Corporate client base;
- Working alongside the sponsor coverage team to develop, originate and manage mid-market relationships across the UK
- Own and develop trusted advisory relationships across a range of key target clients;
- Deliver revenue growth from target clients through handling the delivery of high-quality client service and deliverables;
- Act as a Corporate M&A subject matter expert to support client teams to build relationships, win and deliver engagements
- Working with Aon colleagues to drive and develop new, innovative solutions;
- Establishing a robust internal network to uncover client possibilities and support the provision of outstanding customer care;
- Own and develop relationships with the M&A advisory and sponsor community;

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Strong internal and external networking experience and abilities;
- Active listener, able to identify client issues and articulate solutions;
- Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills across organisational levels;
- Positive attitude, collaborative approach, team player, creative thinker and proactive personality;
- Goal-oriented with strong business acumen and client centric approach;
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priories through effective prioritisation and delegation
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills;
- Passionate about M&A and providing exceptional client service;
- Significant M&A advisory experience gained from a Big 4, investment bank, corporate finance boutique or fund manager;
- Deep M&A sector knowledge and expertise
