A stable regional bank is hiring an Analyst for their HKMA Regulatory Reporting team

About the Role
My client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Regulatory Reporting team. This role focusses on preparing reports required by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate HKMA regulatory returns within prescribed timelines.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure reporting integrity.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and verify financial data.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assist in implementing necessary adjustments to reporting processes.
• Support system enhancements and automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in regulatory reporting or banking operations.
• Strong knowledge of HKMA reporting requirements and banking regulations.
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with reporting systems is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
