Univest Financial Corporation is seeking a Portfolio Management Intern for our Central Lancaster PA Ag Department.
In this role, you'll collaborate with portfolio managers and relationship teams to support loan requests, conduct financial analysis, and assist with audits and risk reviews. If you're pursuing a degree in Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Business, Agriculture or a related field and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, this internship is a great opportunity to launch your career in financial services.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Please note, this position is fully onsite in our Lancaster PA Regional Office.
Responsibilities
Communicate on regular basis with other portfolio managers (PM), relationship managers (RM), and relationship administrators (RA) in order to gather financial information to support loan requests.
Obtaining reporting to help PM's with the monitoring and review exceptions (credit & collateral), maturing loans, asset based loans, and delinquencies.
Support PM's with portfolio audit preparation, support, and responses for internal and external auditors.
Support PM's with review of customer risk profiles and covenant compliance through the collection of financial data and searches.
Gather and input necessary data into nCino or Loan Presentation Summary (LPS) to initiate loan creation and approval process.
Support PM's with real estate evaluations and construction advances
Special projects and additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Detail-oriented and analytically minded
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and communication skills
Proactively seeks opportunities to assist the team and deliver value to customers
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Business, Agriculture or related field
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
Wage Range:
The salary for this position is $20 per hour
